For a bathroom with a strong period influence, this traditional mono basin mixer tap with pop-up waste brings together Victorian-inspired detail and practical everyday use. The brushed brass surface gives it a warm, vintage character, while a PVD coating helps protect the finish. White ceramic accents on the handles add a classic touch that suits Edwardian and traditional interiors particularly well.
Hot and cold water are controlled independently using the two lever handles. As each lever is turned, the flow from its supply can be increased or reduced, allowing the two streams to mix before leaving the spout at a comfortable temperature. The central outlet also swivels, so it can be moved across the basin when required, making tasks such as rinsing or cleaning a little easier.
This deck mounted mixer tap is made from brass and stands 112mm high once installed. It connects to the water supplies using G1/2" connections and is designed to operate from a minimum pressure of LP 0.2, making it suitable for lower-pressure systems.
A pop-up basin waste is included and uses a lifting mechanism to raise or lower the stopper, allowing the bowl to hold water when required and drain it away afterwards. Beneath the basin, a bottle trap (sold separately) can be fitted to direct used water into the waste pipe while maintaining a water seal that helps prevent unpleasant odours from travelling back into the bathroom.
